Shilpa Uppuluri and Deepika Uppuluri are popularly known as “Hyderabad Nightingale sisters”.They hold the 4 - year course certificate in Carnatic Vocal from Sree Potti Sree Ramulu Telugu University and sing a wide variety of songs in Telugu,Hindi and Tamil languages including classical, light, devotional, film songs, Urdu ghazals and Telugu Padyams. They are classically trained by their Gurus, Sri. Prakhya Anjaneya Sastry garu and Smt. Jayamani Narasimham garu.

        They have judged the TANA - MAA TV
North America Super Singer preliminaries in Washington DC, Detroit,MI and San Jose,CA.

Shilpa Deepika 's concert was the highlight of APSRTC Annual Cultural Festival consecutively for 3 years at Hyderabad (2005),Vishakapatnam (2006) and Tirupathi (2007).These highly acclaimed concerts gave them an opportunity to perform at Tirumala.
